Revised dates have been confirmed for the Improving Infrastructure with BIM series, to support the RICS launch of its new Infrastructure pathway. Spectrum’s Neil Reed is providing the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors web class program on improving infrastructure with Building Information Modelling. The series will be delivered in 3 live online sessions:

Part 3 - BIM for Infrastructure: Technical Data and Project Delivery
Internationally, BIM is now widely accepted as a best practice approach and delivery of infrastructure projects is increasingly required in the BIM environment. In the UK, Government policy requires the use of BIM on all infrastructure projects by 2016 and sequential adoption by Govt. Departments now includes specific project requirements for BIM as an important part of the procurement and delivery process.
This series of RICS Web Classes will bring attendees understanding of issues and opportunities fully up to date and will provide the basis for developing a detailked road map for individuals and organisations seeking to engage with and benefit from BIM.
