The UK Government's launch of PAS 91 in March 2013 provides a powerful addition to the business case for Building Information Modelling. Pre-qualification for publicly funded projects will now require businesses to meet prescribed standards in BIM policy, processes, systems, training and delivery capability.
Revised dates have been confirmed for the Improving Infrastructure with BIM series, to support the RICS launch of its new Infrastructure pathway. Spectrum’s Neil Reed is providing the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors web class program on improving infrastructure with Building Information Modelling. The series will be delivered in 3 live online sessions:
Part 1 - BIM for Infrastructure: Strategic Benefits Realisation
Part 2 - BIM for Infrastructure: Managing What, When, Who and How
Part 3 - BIM for Infrastructure: Technical Data and Project Delivery
Increased demand has led to new dates for 4D Training, Spectrum's Neil Reed will be co-hosting a 2 day course providing hands-on experience in modelling time as part of a BIM project. Neil will be joined by experts from the BIM Academy and Asta Developments, industry leaders in project scheduling software.
